Credit Transfer Recommended Universities

Recommended Universities

The following universities are recommended for credit transfers and adhere to international quality standards. Their credentials are recognized in 189 countries, including those participating in the Hague Apostille Convention. Students may use this list to pursue credit transfers, apply for equivalency, or explore dual degree programs. Additionally, research projects, theses, and practical credit hours may be validated through on-campus experiences in collaboration with these universities.

Program Overview

  • Students initially complete 30 community credits through non-traditional or distance-learning methods.
  • Language proficiency courses, such as IELTS, along with subject-specific credits, strengthen foundational knowledge and prepare students for advanced coursework.
  • Completion of community credits determines readiness for thesis and research evaluations by the review panel.
  • The program is self-paced and typically requires 4 to 6 months to complete the initial 30 credits.
  • Students must complete three short courses during the program, with U.S. campus visits scheduled according to individual preferences, semester-wise or per course requirements.
  • Credit transfers must be processed through one of the recommended universities under the supervision of (ABHEC), ensuring compliance with regional regulations and proper program validation. Practical credit hours and thesis work can be defended at the original campus; students wishing to defend in a different state must notify (ABHEC) upon completion of community credits.

American Board of Higher Education Commission oversees all standardization and accreditation procedures, ensuring that credit transfer and validation processes comply with U.S. regulations and international standards, supporting a smooth academic experience for international students.
